1. Engine and genset integrity — visual condition, leak paths, vibration history, cooling and lubrication system health as evidenced by records and inspection.
2. Generator end — insulation history, bearing condition notes, and any rewind or rewind-plan documentation when present.
3. Controls and protection — governor / AVR behaviour under load-bank or historical load data; protection settings that match the intended plant topology.
4. Balance of plant — fuel day tanks, filtration, exhaust, radiators or cooling loops, switchgear, transformers, and cabling fitness for redeployment.
